Polar bears mostly eat seals. They also eat beluga whales, walruses, narwhals, and bowhead whales. Using their sense of smell, Polar Bears can locate a seal's breathing hole from a mile away. Polar Bears hunt seals by waiting patiently and silently by their breathing hole,once the seal comes up the Polar Bear attacks the seal. The Polar Bear also hunts seal's by swimming beneath the ice. Polar Bears also stalk seal's laying on the ice. Polar Bears will travel at least 20 miles, to feed it’s young. This unique animal will eat anything available to survive the summer, such as caribou, geese, and even bird eggs.
